Booking Conditions
The lessons offered take place online and are arranged individually between Trust Language Learning and the participant.
Before the start of regular lessons, a non-binding and free trial lesson may be arranged. Its purpose is to become familiar with the course format and to determine whether the offer meets the participant’s expectations and goals.
A contract is formed once a date for the regular lessons has been bindingly confirmed by email following the trial lesson.
Lessons are generally conducted in fixed, pre-arranged sessions and may take place either as one-to-one or group lessons.
Payment is made monthly in advance before the lessons begin.
For one-to-one lessons, appointments cancelled in due time may be rescheduled by agreement. Agreed appointments may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made at shorter notice will be treated as lessons delivered.
For group lessons, lessons will take place regardless of the attendance of individual participants. In such cases, there is no entitlement to make up missed lessons. In individual cases, a make up lesson may be offered by prior agreement, subject to a separate fee.
If a lesson is scheduled on a public holiday, an alternative arrangement will be made in good time, but no later than at the beginning of the relevant month. If no separate arrangement is made, the lesson will not take place. Lessons not conducted due to public holidays will be credited or refunded on a pro rata basis.
In 2026, there will be a two-week teaching break from 3 August to 14 August inclusive. This break will be taken into account accordingly when calculating the lesson units for that month. The last teaching day in 2026 will be 11 December, and lessons will resume on 11 January 2027. Billing will be adjusted accordingly as well.
If lessons cannot take place for reasons attributable to the tutor, such as illness or technical problems, a replacement lesson will be arranged.
Both parties are responsible for ensuring that the technical requirements for online lessons are in place, in particular a stable internet connection and a functioning audio and video connection.
The lessons are offered on a self-employed basis. No employment relationship is established.
Lesson sessions may only be recorded with the consent of both parties.
Termination:
Either party may terminate the agreed arrangement by email by giving two weeks’ notice. Lesson fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable on a pro rata basis.
